| I have purchased a set of 5 60MM throttle bodies. I could have gotten more -but the cost was getting to much since I only really need 2 sets (for the 2 Z's I now own). I have talked to a local shop about following the tech write up via Ash's post and they have agreed to do the modification for an as yet to be determined price. It depends on the actual time to convert and based on Nixit's previous statements -it is a pain in the butt - but I am hoping that doing a few sets will make it cost effective where everyone gains. Also - The details are being worked out - but I will be able to use a dyno cheaply / for free to get a before and after comparison based on connections that I have. I just hope it doesn't snow too soon. I don't know exactly how things will work - meaning - send me your stock throttle bodies and plenum or core charge which will be refundable. I prefer not to have to deal with that mess and actually would prefer long term to step away from it and turn everything over to the performance shop and the consumer. I am just laying the ground work where as I can get a set of 60Mm throttle bodies for two cars without having too spend a ton of money out of pocket. I will keep all posted and have pics available for those that are interested with final prices as well. Right now I have to source a spare plenum. Expect an update towards the end of December. p.s - I have a set of 54MM throttle bodies for sale from the Z I just purchased - $175 range p.s.s - If anyone is interested in the throttle bodies without any modification - shoot me an email -- it will be way cheaper for those that can follow the tech write up themselves. The only cost will be what I paid for the parts and shipping.
